The Spacemaker™ Dissection Balloons use a distention balloon (either oval or round) to separate tissue planes, forming a discrete cavity for inguinal hernia repair.

The use of a balloon may reduce the amount of time required to create the operative space. It may also reduce bleeding by applying pressure to the vessels during dissection.
