• An acrylic adhesive strip on the perimeter improves electrode-to-patient contact quality while providing a moisture barrier that reduces the chance of fluid invasion
• Closed-cell foam backing conforms to most patient contours and prevents tearing of the return electrode
• The surface area and a thick layer (0.050 in.) of Polyhesive Hydrogel disperses the current, minimizing heat production
